I never really got into One Piece as much as I did with others. I think I watched the show back when toonami was still around, so I know a bit about chopper. Looks good though! Even though you yourself are a bit unsatisfied :}

[Fire Armor]

It does remind me of a firebat resort cross. Resorts are the shit! However, I'm reminded of the power armor from Fallout one and two. Really nice for a sketch! Now if only I can produce something as cool in the same amount of time :}
