So this past October was the National Student Electronic Media Convention, hosted by the College Broadcasters Inc. It was a big convention for college radio in the United States, filled with networking events, social gathering and professional development panels and talks.

I wasn't able to attend lol, I was busy with class and being a grown ass man, but I won something. Over 1000 submissions in various categories were submitted for judging, and in the category of public service announcements, your boy Sam took home 1st place...

and 2nd place.

Like, holy shit man, it was nearly a clean sweep! I've never gotten recognition at this scale!

I'd like to call attention to the artist Grumpyfart. She is an all around incredible digital artist who makes incredible artworks and frame by frame pixel animations. We joke that she's Newgrounds' unofficial mascot! Send some love her way, here are some examples of her dope work!

I've been looking forward to this for the longest time, and earlier today it finally happened, I breached that lofty goal of 1000 followers here on NG! I've been feeling my way, making content and helping others with their awesome creations for the past 10 years on the wonderful site, and every single one of you makes me proud to be here! For those that helped me get to this point, thank you! For those who haven't, I hope to produce something that appeals to you and see you along the way to the next stage.

I've been really going hard the last month with my art for Art Fight, and I'm really proud of what I came up with, here are some of the highlights!

Was that clickbaity enough? I don't know. Just wanted to say hey, hello! Been a while since my last news post, I'm a busy guy. Wanted to say thanks for everyone who has followed me up until this point, we got the big 900! If you haven't seen it yet, go check out Wimp Witch chapter 1, by @cecameron. I voice alongside @rebekahamberclark, and it's the culmination of some very hard work. Carmen is seriously one of the most talented people I have the pleasure to work with, she's a freaking dynamo.

I've been getting back into art lately, not as much as I would like because of class, but more than I have in the past several years, check out some of my latest work, I've really improved!

So yeah, I married my best friend yesterday! Small ceremony, just got it done at the courthouse and we'll do a reception later but I'm so glad we finally tied the knot! I love @grumpyfart, and I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with her!

Also in other news, 9 years on Newgrounds officially since Tuesday :P

It's an amazing opportunity to show everyone what you have got: voice acting skills, editing, and writing, the whole shabang!
